Shoutout to the guy who caught this, I dont know he found that detail but this is mad hype. It leads to a whole new set of questions. There is already dedicated thread to this but in that its just Admiralbros trying to place this as a fact (I think it is) while others are downplaying it. For people who are unaware, somebody pointed out that we see the silhouette of Imu in the glasses of Aokiji in Chap 699 when Aokiji went to save Smoker. Some people are denying it but I think it is Imu (I am with Admiralfans on this). So the following questions/discussion is based on that Aokiji was aware of Imus existence back then.
1. When did Aokiji learn of Imus existence? Was it before he fought Akainu for FA position?
2. When did Akainu learn of Imus existence (this Aokiji reveal means that Akainu talking to Gorosei about someone higher up was based on Akainu being aware of Imus existence and not about someone else like HK/CP0 or CD committee type shit)?
3. Since the FA candidates are aware of Imus existence does this mean that all FAs are aware of it?
4. How does this change your view of Admirals morality? They are aware of the biggest lie to the world, why are they willing to serve such a corrupt system?
5. Did Aokiji leave after learning of Imus existence?
6. Since Aokiji is aware of it, then is his purpose to destroy the WG by finding the OP and is this why he allied with BBPs?
7. Has Aokiji told BB about Imus existence? And is BBPs aim for the world conquest a consequence of this reveal?
8. Will Aokiji die by sacrificing himself against Imu? Will he serve as a hypetool?
I have said this before and I will say it again, Admirals vs Gorosei would be a dream matchup. If not for Venus having a Kitetsu I would have really pushed for the Admirals vs Gorosei agenda but due to this I cant see it happening. Would have been really good if Akainu and Aokiji came up with this plan and faked their rivalry and then went against WG by fighting the Gorosei.
I can understand Aokijis inclusion into that final players double spread now. Before that it was only a conflicted ex Admiral thing. But now we can see his purpose. Couple this with BBPs ambitions and them monitoring how the CDs are getting effected by RAs siege and I am 90% sure that Imu and WG will fall before Laugh Tale or at the same time. You look at how much focus the WG with Gorosei, Imu and HKs are getting in this post Wano saga and I have no doubt in my mind that they are this sagas main antagonists.
