Powers & Abilities The Average One Piece Fan Can't Understand Haki Because They Don't Understand Cultural Differences

#21
That presents challenges of its own because of intercultural communication.

If you tell a Western reader that Eastern philosophies are involved with Haki- they just look at you like you're crazy. They don't believe a word of it.

They each have their own personal ideas about how souls work, for example. Some of them insist souls aren't even involved. It's just "Will".

But honestly Will = Spirit I don't know how much more clear that can be to anyone.
If it's a human concept then it can be taught. Be patient. Explain the main core. Then clarify some of the more common misconceptions.

You don't have to argue. Just offer the information in a coherent manner

There are tons of references in OP that tie into different cultures and beliefs. Why should haki be any different? I think allot of people would listen.

You are by far the dumbest and most stuck up
person I have ever seen use this forum. I had to make an account just to tell you this.

Does nobody find it weird how this mental nutcase keeps trying to apply his real life beliefs to a fucking comicbook about magic pirates?

He won’t even bother to explain shit but will speak to everyone in a condescending tone about characters following cosmic law and how Haki is based on his schizophrenic philosophies.

:kriwhat:
just stfu, this stuff is NOT real and it isn’t that deep. You arent some spiritual guru because you made a headcanon about Haki that you refuse to elaborate on
Dude came in like a thunderbolt
:milaugh:

Lmfaooooo that’s hilarious
Mod him

Haki was created to counter act and balance df specifically logia's

It not some spiritual meaning or religious purposes whatever you're trying to push here

It's literally to maintain balance in the story so logia's and op devil fruits don't completely dominate

Without Haki Smoker would be top 5 strongest

It might be more than a power system or a way out of logias' intangibility, it might have spiritual meaning or religious purpose... It might be perfectly planned in Oda's head and somewhat poorly executed visually...

But all that is moot cause op is definitely condescending lol

Wrong. Haki is an esoteric concept that considers ancient societies to have an innate understanding about the universe and the energy around us. It is something that is considered to exist in real life since the creation of the universe.

Haki involves Universal Laws which are also considered Spirit Laws. These are things ancient societies have said have always existed.

In fact, the entire D clan is based on people who believe these same things and then it will turn into fantasy when they show us advanced technology based on spiritual elements like Haki.

Inspired by it maybe but I think if Haki was some religious or spiritual thing then it would of been explained or at least hinted at by now

From what I can tell Haki is just a user's spirit the stronger their spirit i.e will power the more potent their haki

That's why the characters with the strongest willpower tend to be the ones who unlock conquerors haki

And yes the op was quite condescending

The reason why it's not hinted at is because it's based on an innate understanding of the universe. It works based on natural patterns.

Show me where it was ever once mentioned in story that haki had any religious connections and show Me exactly when Oda said He based the D clan on some religious cult we haven't Even been told what the D means and there's been no connection between Haki and the D clan whatsoever

Lmao... that's kind of exactly what it is though... it's spirit knowledge from a separate dimension known as the metaphysical realm of light and it sometimes comes to people in dreams because the realm of light is also known as the realm of ideas and what is a dream but an idea?

Listen well! Devil Fruit users innately gain knowledge about how to use their Devil Fruits. Do you have any clue how that happens? I do. When they ate the fruit, it awakened spiritual knowledge within them and that in turn allowed their bodies to interpret how to use the abilities.

Sorry, but your explanations are definitely below average... You might have way more knowledge than the average reader, but how can we reach your level if you don't explain it to us in an understandable way ?

Are we condemned to stay below you forever ? Will we one day reach your level ?

Do you maybe have sources that we could read and understand?

I'm teasing, because all you talk about is all the things I'm into... But you just kind of skip over all the important parts.

Do you wanna know what haki is?
It is when clowns keep talking about things they think they understand -but actually don’t- and then get smacked in the face
That’s spirit/ haki/ metaphysical realm of light extraterrestrial cojones

Why do you think people can't learn to be Conquering Kings? It's not trainable.

It's because your will/soul must correspond to the qualities of a king.

How do you think people know how to be a king from birth? They are born with an innate knowledge about how to be a king. Where do you think that knowledge came from? It's from a spiritual realm.
