I think MC is undersized and too skinny for running back. Wide receiver and cornerback is good position for him. But this MC work hard as I remember.

But japan and USA are different.
Japanese in general are shorter and lighter than american.
You have remember American football is not big in Japan. However , they say it will be popular someday in future. Even though American football is harder to get big because of money issue. One football helmet cost $500. $400 - $500 is enough for entire rugby equipment for each adult player.
