I love death in fiction so any time thats an Option I'm down for it usually
But I also love stories that reflect the horrors of our existence
But most people go to read or watch them to escape those things which is understandable

It's why i ended up falling in love with chainsaw man and fire punch (shounen jump examples)
Because rather than going around those things or avoiding them entirely
Those series embrace them

Also I love an organice flow of events even when it goes against normative dramatic story telling
