Doffy realized he is out matched by G4 so he switched to awakening as last resort. Katakuri fruit is different. Sort of logia type and we haven't seen logia type awakening yet. Thou it's a special paramacia. Law and kidd clearly said awakening takes a lot of energy and that's the last resort. Even with luffy awakening. Do you think luffy will be switching to g5 right of the bat against any Enemy. He won't g4 or g2 is what he will prefer.
Kaido is laughing from th past 3 chapters in the final panel dude. He fighting since the beginning of Arc and the only antagonist standing till now. He definafrly haven't used their awakening. And for law and kidd. They did spam it ? So why didn't they use it when kaido came down ? They themselves said if kaido comes down They are dead. Awakening is a last resort thing to use. Accept it or not
