I haven't seen the episode. But there is still all the Super Saiyan aura and shit and snail speed pace right? Only Art style being better than manga can only do so much.

Oda has said that he considers the manga and anime to be seperate from each other. Like, they are two different mediums, and should be enjoyed as such.

look they are complaining that the anime used advcoc for hakkai = Conquest of the Sea, aka containing the word conquer so coc....so I am taking what the anime show to be more in line with what the author want than some fan opinion

It is what it is. Personally I'm trying to enjoy every new chapter, especially since I was needlessly a downer when I first joined

Let's ride this story out in a positive way. I'm sure everyone has at least one thing they enjoy about OP, so why not focus on that and have a good time

not as much as the tatsumaki episode but it clearly showed the engagment between Ashura and Kaido , in the manga it was a small panel with clash symbols so it was poorly shown whereas in the episode is actually drawn

hakkai = conquest of the sea (aka contain the word to conquer) and both character are yonkos...give me a break the anime in this occasion is way more in line than your headcanon :

There are only a few things you can take into consideration with the anime, and those are the things that happen offscreen in the manga, so Toei takes liberties

Changing stuff that happen onscreen in the manga (like Sanji vs King, Zoro cutting a cliff so Big Mom could fall, Big Mom hitting the sea, etc) is unnecessary imo, but i admit sometimes they do a far better job than Oda

Sometimes the anime can make more clear stuff that actually happens in the manga, but that aren't actually clear for the readers to understand due to Oda's laziness, such as Zoro trading blows with Kaido before hitting him with Asura, that happened in the manga as the sfx tells us

So the anime can improve a lot of things in that regard

Yeah. I've been criticising oda more and more recently. I know it changes nothing. Honestly, I think if we weren't exposed to the fandom and communities, we wouldn't be feeling as bad about the chapters or even think they are good. We set high expectations and subsequently set ourselves up for disappointment. I should probably stop.
