Yeah. I've been criticising oda more and more recently. I know it changes nothing. Honestly, I think if we weren't exposed to the fandom and communities, we wouldn't be feeling as bad about the chapters or even think they are good. We set high expectations and subsequently set ourselves up for disappointment. I should probably stop.
Same happened to me with kingdom manga reddit. Ever since I stopped interacting with them I enjoyed reading chapters more.

Tgere's nothingnwrong with criticising any author. But the way we do it here (or those poor fucks in r/piratefolk) is more spite than criticism.

Every line, panel, facial expression, background sfx is scrutinized to hell and back.

This constant complaining in echo chambers then leads to fans expecting the author to abruptly start writing the story in a way that comforts their headcanons of how it should proceed.

Anything other than that is "dae Oda bad?"

There are more than enough things I dislike or outright hate about this story. But the things I like and live faaaaaaar outweigh those, so I figured I'll focus on that for the reminder of the journey.

Doesn't mean I'll stop trolling and baiting agenda posters doe:suresure:
