If Kaido hated Wano due to their persecution, it makes sense for him to support the hag and Orochi, since they suffered from persecution as Kurozumi.

Also so curious about the Land of Gold stuff, they use gold as the currency sure, but there’s no more mention about it from anyone. I hope the void century stuff explains it because past Wano is soooo interesting.

I think he’s from the present time but with how much they’ve made Zoro’s gold earrings sparkle this arc there really might be a connection to the past if the gold stuff is about the past too

Wano doesnt feel all that different from the WG and Celestial Dragons at all, thats for sure!

Kurozumis were hunted down and murdered through all generations, all of their people because one of their daimyos tried to poison the other ones? So everyone in that bloodline, present and future must pay!? I fully empathised with Orochi at that point honestly.

Fuck Wano and its people honestly. Bunch of sycophants and witch hunters. No wonder Odas "defenders/angels" also "love" this arc so much!

I've never wanted to see a country in OP get Buster Called to oblivion and go the way of Ohara and Gods Valley so much! Aside from Marineford and especially Mary Geoise too ofc!

Holy fuck the gold earrings too ofc! Right in front of our faces! Onigashima also got an eye scar similar to Zoros I believe, lost the same horn that Kaido did too?
Some interesting parallels thats for sure!
