carrot has never been a primary character. if you look into the story, she has no characterisation that is independent from pedro; oda did not put effort in creating this character, he simply gave
her good looks and a funny gag.
In terms of character, there is no development, and her moment is just related to pedro’s death. Paradoxically, in WCI Pekoms is much better portrayed

It's hilarious a Kawamatsu fan, one of the most overrated, dull and way overhyped/bait heavy characters by Oda is talking trash on a far more endearing character with an actual personality.

Oda even originally only planned 4 scabbards and he wasnt one of them either AFAIK.

All those weeks of wondering who thst menacing prisoner with the glaring eyes in the dark of the cell at Udon was, that mysterious prisoner who turned out to be the Mid-sterious, Kawa-mid-su.
Sasuga Oda, that was so worth the wait and bait.

A long history, she only knew him for 5 freaking years.. Her crying was never shown how it mattered and if her relationship with Pedro mattered it would have been shown especially if she were to become a Strawhat..
