but a lot of families would urge the victim to suffer in silence tho , really what it comes down to is what the victim in said scenario wants.
it they want it known to legal authorities they should have that option and if they want to keep it within the family circle
they should also have that option even after its criminalized.

generally tho it is and should be a criminal matter.
Yeah, women, especially in subcontinent suffer in their marriages.
Something needs to be done about it.
But that solution should not have any loop holes to be misused.

Marriage is a pact of love and union, it doesn't mean you take advantage of the other person nor do you have the freedoms to do whatever you want with them. Wtf dude
you're talking to a person who is, evidently, incapable of distinguishing between sex and rape.

but yes, it should be a very simple thing to grasp:

stealing is bad -> stealing from your spouse is bad

lying is bad -> lying to your spouse is bad

rape is bad -> raping your spouse is bad

it's like some people think that if they take a bad thing and transport it 'into' a marriage situation then it suddenly becomes a 'good' thing. or at least acceptable.

with a spouse like that, who needs enemies? :lawsigh:
