Other artists/authors might draw spinoff mangas, similar to the light novels. And Oda might give the general outline of the plot.

I'm lowkey starting to want OP to never end too. It's a different type of story to the other two, as it's heading towards a fixed goal from the start. And if Oda's health holds up, it will surely end in 10 years-ish. But dunno, I came to the realization that wanting to read the new chapter every week trumps my desire to see the conclusion.

Nooo! Not another manga that has no conclusion! I want to see that final panel that Oda has been having in mind for years!
Still waiting for Inoue to drop a new Vagabond chapter...
