I wouldn't agree with you, that just Perona is spoiled young girl, that's it. And this is not the first time when Oda showed bad girls like that. Just look on Viola, who love Doffy(even called him like that), or at least have sex with him, with man who killed her sister. You know the word tho* is exactly the best word that you should use here...while people hate Rebeca, who survived hell. So why you should blame author for that?)
Plus to that, I never doubted that Moria raised Perona even before SBS, case Moria wanted to have only undead members in crew, so why perona was special? Well, answer was that her parents was in Moria crew...

Not really. We see how much she cares about moria only after the fact about their relation was given ( in SBS I guess) about moria and her relation. There was no such hint about it in TB. So it is pretty clear this was not planned at that time.
Also about Viola, I am pretty sure Viola did not love doffy and was more of a honey trap. We have atleast two instances which hints at that one is by Doffy himself(her attempt to kill(poison) him) and other is by the army captain(don't remember the name) who talks about how she was suffering in that place all this time(refering to her being in doffys familia and all)(there are more hints can't remember now, you know her assassin role to using the same method and theme of dressrosa etc maybe.). Well no need to discuss this point with regards to perona. And don't really feel good about it too.

But getting to Perona its pretty clear its inconsitence. She became so caring only after we were given the fact about their relation. Using the she is s spoiled brat as an excuse is stupid and lame for a writer.
