You know, sometimes you need to take a deep breath and split the users in your mind. There are people discussing rationaly, still with a grain of bias for a character (Blother, rerere, for example), and then there are just fandoms who ignore everything not perfectly fitting their headcanon about a character. With the first one, you can discuss and even when you are at a different point of view or have a different opinion, its fun and you can enjoy it. But the second kind of user... For me its just trolling and in 95% of cases i just ignore them.

Everyone is kinda biased for a character, because they identify most with them or just focus more on a character. Thats not an issue, its not even bad, it can bring up different point of views, which is always an interesting thing.

The point is, some people want to debate to learn more and read something about different point of views and some people just want to on a "winning side", just want their character to win.

There is just a difference between biased and illusional.
