There are 2 things which would be very awkward if it really did become true
1: Zoro being Related to Ushimaru, specially his hair color or face being similar, it would be very stupid if Gyukimaru or Scabbards or Yasu never gave any indication of his resemblance to someone they knew
2: Denjiro being Koushiro, specially Koushiro having Wado Ichimonji but nobody ever asked Zoro how he got his hands at Wado, not scabbards and not Tengu when they were all expecting Denjiro's help, didnt it never cross their mind Zoro might've killed Denjiro and took his sword....

Regarding the second point, there may be a lot of swords with hilts similar to Wado. For example, King's sword seems to have a very similar hilt. Luffy's swords in the vol. 95 are also similar to Wado.

- Denjiro's sword is not Wado and Denjiro is not Koshirou. This is the straightforward interpretation.
- Wado has very common hilt, hence the scabbards didn't make any notice of it. I don't think Zoro has been using Wado that often in the new world, specially in front of the Scabbards, so they didn't see the whole sword that much. And to be honest, Wado isn't as noticeable as Shusui or Enma. This is a more convoluted interpretation but not impossible.
the whole Denjiro=Koushiro is based on Wado Ichimonji type sword he has.....and also it was Noticed already and not only that Tengu specifically talked about Wado Ichimonji without mentioning Denjiro
