Some consider it bad writing, I consider it being consistent. We aren't talking about facing fodders but elite emperor force there. That's why Nami standing up is a nice moment, because that's not her usual behavior.
That's fair.
But I'm talking more in a "generally speaking" kind of way.
Nami standing her ground against Ulti in response to the assault on Tama is nice. I think it makes a lot of sense for her.
I'm talking about how, after 1000 chapters, the characters become so "consistent", that they become stale, predictable.
