Only two people have blackened their swords. Both are the peak of swordsmanship. Roger couldn’t so we can’t give him the benefit of the doubt. With Shanjs at least we know he could fight Mihawk equally.

True. Roger was trash. His named attack against Oden was so much weaker than Mihawk’s casual iceberg cutter. Totally different level.

I understand not liking and even hating Luffy. Oda has mater it difficult for Luffy fans to catch Ws for the past three years. But this arc is about testing wills. And the general fanbase wills are being tested with this long arc and shitty events, even shittier powerscaling
