Do you think Awakening is a new form or something? I don't think it's a new form. It's just recovery like Impel Down Zooans.

If that's the case, there is no need for new stuff. It's just Kaido temporarily adding more HP to his healthbar.

Those have new forms though, animal heads instead of the middle ground of hybrids.

I sorta think it’s a new form. My main theory was that it gives you back 100 hp but removes that hyped up zoan healing factor or it just makes kaido heal way faster and luffy almost destroys onigashima with an attack to defeat him

Anyone who says the fight is almost over is out of their minds. It's barely started since 1027. He came back and had one major clash with him. We already all know Luffy's fights are the longest once everyone else wins. If Zoro/Sanji got 3+ chapters for theirs, Luffy is getting way more lol.

His fights ALWAYS last as long as the arc needs to wrap up its conflicts.
