- Kid is disgusted by the WG’s atrocities and proposes that she follows him on his journey

The later game of thrones books do this in a really extreme way that divides a lot people's opinion
Spoiler alert for that down below
Briennes story in the book, her journey basically acomplishes nothing
She never finds ayra or Sansa
And only ends up in shittier situations
A lot of chapters are her and podrick traveling around
People question what was the point of any of it
And I would say that it's merely most probable outcome to her efforts and that's it
It becomes less of a story and more of just watching things unfold organically and being immersed into that
