He doesn't "like" to win that way but that doesn't mean he has control over it depending on how it's done. Remember how Flampe interfered with Luffy. Katakuri didn't know until after.

Guaranteed if he knows CP-0 interfered, he will destroy that CP-0 member.

Kaido should be able to hurt Luffy without some interference, would be some lame writing if it happened again

Katakuri's CoO is still better than Luffy's I would say even if both have FS, and therefore better than Kaido's.

Because Kaido’s whole character arc is looking for a satisfying battle to die in. Him finally finding that battle would mean he would do anything so it doesn’t get tainted
