Hey, I would like to make this post so we can have a vote on Coby's Future.

Some people say Coby will be equal to Luffy and be stronger than Roger.

Some say there's no way that will be the case.

Some say that will happen but after the main story is over.

Personally I believe Coby will be stronger than Roger, during the events of the main story, and he will be able to defeat mid diff or high diff every original yonko, which means, Whiteboard, Shanks, Big Mom, and Kaido, with their strength levels of the time ( Kaido may come back with awakening and be stronger, I am saying Coby will be able to defeat Wano Kaido mid diff or high diff, not a later awakened Kaido ).

Nobody is really equal to Luffy. His past friendly rivals include Smoker, Kid, and Law. So I expect Koby to get a similar treatment.

Given how Luffy will be God tier, Koby is 100% surpassing prime Garp to even have a similar gap to Luffy as Kid or Law did in wano.

He will be clearly weaker than Goofy, that Garp/Roger dynamic was thrown out of the window the moment the latter awakened a god fruit. EoS Coby will beat Kuzan though.

EoS Luffy won’t completely be in God-tier like Joyboy and Imu. Joyboy is equal or stronger than Imu while Luffy will need all the help he can get and luck to beat Imu. So EoS Koby doesn’t have to surpass nor even reach prime Garp/Roger. Prime Koby will obviously equal or surpass Garp but not during EoS.

I think it's fair to expect Coby to be Luffy's equal on his way to becoming PK, but as his destiny has grown to incorporate godly elements, by the time Luffy fulfills the promises of JB and Nika, Coby would be nowhere near him in terms of power.

Coby is pirate Luffy's rival.
Coby is god Nika's fodder.
