so maybe we shouldnt just yet decide on targets for SHs to defeat...

Rather shouldn't we discuss who will defeat which one of Strawhats and Allies and which ones will be able to escape ?

Imo kaido will take out law kidd and luffy, big mom may take out some scabbards, namely kin'emon. He will then decide to hold a public execution for them in a week or so. Leaving plenty of time for other parties(marines, blackbeard, grand fleet) to arrive and save the day.

The reason i believe this raid will fail is because hawkins gave luffy his odds at the start of wano, saying his odds of survival by the end of this month are 19%. I dont think oda put it there randomly, it is a hint imo. We are at the start of week 3. They will fail, some( those i named) will be captured for execution a week or so later. Thats what i think.

I just think there is no room for losing the battle. I don't know how oda will handle it but that raid is going to last long with plot twist and at the end the alliance will end up as the winners.

It shouldnt, specially because Nekomamushi hasnt arrived and the fuji said Hawkins prediction and also if it is THE BIG WAR which Oda mentioned snd Kaido Mentioned then Strawhat alliance also isnt present and Marines as well havent yet attacked on the alliance as Drake reported them and is likely to attack them....and also Gyukimaro, why isnt he participating and avenging His Master's death and Caribou too must have a role to play

I don't think the straw hat fleet will come, they have no reason to. And I think neko will arrive at a crucial time with reinforcement and change the tide of some fights.

As for Hawkins predictions, I think it was just a general prediction, I don't really care what he said. He is going to be wrong anyway. He'll make a prediction about kaido being defeated, he'll have 0% and kaido will still lose.

I expect Kaido and Big Mom to beat at least Luffy and Kid if not most the supernovas and some of the scabbards, King to defeat one scabbard or Zoro, Smoothie, Queen and Jack to take down the rest of the scabbards. The F6 and Charlotte children may take on other important players of the alliance and the rest of the Beast Pirates and Orochi's forces to overpower most of the samurais and yakuzas until help arrive.

More chances to die doesn’t mean they will. Different things, if he said they would then you’re right but he’s never been wrong before.
