Speculations The dragon and the winged creature are the same entity

I think Imu might be protecting the world from the gods/demons
I dunno, I’m not quite ready to jump to the gods and demons being real, divine creatures that the world needs protected from.

Everything in the Harley texts obviously existed, but I’m not sure that these figures won’t just be people with delusions of grandeur due to their powers.

Like, Whitebeard can destroy the world according to Sengoku, we’ve seen Akainu and Kuzan can perma fuck up an island.

Are there really gods, or just delusional pricks like some turbocharged Enel?

Either there is only one primordial entity first being earth god and creating hell serpent like imu does with gorosei and in second world it reincarneted into forest god aka imu.

Or they are all separate individual entities. Then the question is what was forest god doing in first world war?

Yeah, people are jumping way too quickly on the "actual deities" train. Characters with powerful DFs and ancestral abilities (like Shirahoshi) are basically indistinguishable from deities in a way.
We even know Lunarians were worshipped as gods.

Ever since DFs were basically confirmed to be magical I’ve been more open to the possibly of actual mythological creators at play

I mean this chapter confirms Nika was a thing

The individuals who ate god fruits certainly are delusional pricks.
But before the DFs were around the actual gods existed.

Then the question is what was forest god doing in first world war?
If the first world was only flames there might not have been a forest yet.

If there is a primordial evil villain and Imu is simply linked to it by fruit or whatever it is definitely coming back as the FV. Just like in Naruto where we had Madara and Obito become Kaguya like but they aren't actually her.

So yeah I believe we're going back to the og source.

The Dragon/Earth god and the winged individual on the left are the same entity.

Think of the Dragon as the full Zoan transformation, and the winged individual as the hybrid form.

Both have two horns and wings.

The winged individual holding the sun is probably Imu using the mother flame, the mother flame was probably destroyed or rendered inoperative after the war hence why hes trying to make a new one because the war isnt over as Nika keeps coming back to free the world from the earth gods tyrany. Now the question is if Imu is the original earth god or a vessel like Luffy is to Nika, that is open for interpretation. I think Imu was born in the secon world and inheritted the earth god's powers.

Imu gives people immortality, regen and just powers them up, that is literally something a devil will be able to do. Sabo said that he didnt imagine that the top of the world was actually hell itself, this is after seeing the Gorosei and Imu transform.

Basically the eternal enemy of Nika is the earth god who had humanity enslaved, the serpent is an ally of the earth god.

I think Blackbeard will either ally with Luffy to fight Imu or pull a zetsu and steal his powers but imo it would be bad writting and isnt really foreshadowed in the prophecy at all.

This is basically a story of earth god vs Nika.

Nope.. They are not the same.. We can see the Earth God and the Serpent of Hell blowing flames at each other, that's the First World, which is not Imu.. Imu is the Forest God that is the main Actor of the Second World, which is the Void Century.. Then i agree with you that Imu is on left of the Mural with the Mother Flame, and that's Imu's representation of the Forest God..

The 2 entities are not one, it depicts the Earth God and the Forest God.. I think all the Gods are drawn Black and portrayed in the fresco..

The right - Serpent of Hell, who is a God too, probably Sea God..
Top - Earth God
Left - Forest God
Luffy - Sun God
The one with a Crown - Sea God
The one with a spear fighting with Luffy - Earth God again or Rain God..

The Angel one above Sun God might be a God too..

Barking's not enough
So the final villain of this manga is just a born human who ate a devil fruit? Nah bro. The final villain of this manga is a primordial godlike entity that enslaved humanity, not a fucking girl who ate a devil fruit lol.
If Imu is a Celestial Dragon possessed by a Demonic entity, I'd much prefer Teach to be the final boss.

Honestly, I've really come around to the idea of Teach losing out on Laugh Tale, but continuing on, anyway.

Luffy lost bad in Marineford, then came back to pick up the pieces.

I could see Oda doing a "Teach found part of the treasure, but not the whole One Piece"

Luffy beats Teach in Laugh Tale, then allies with him to defeat Imu. Right after defeating Imu, Teach betrays Luffy, and uses his Fruit to gain Imu's powers.

There's so many interesting places Oda can take this, I really feel Teach needs to be in the final fight on some level.

The earth god reincarnated into forsest god in second world. It is possible.

No they are distinct Gods..

The Sun God will reincarnate in another Sun God..
The Earth God will reincarnate in another Earth God..
The Forest God will reincarnate in another Forest God..

And so on.. The only god who doesn't seem to have reincarnated is so far is Imu, the Forest God..
