Ever since it was said that an incident on egghead was going to happen many people have thrown out their theories on what the incident could be, with every new event there's more and more possibilities but the actual answer is

The Entire Arc, everything that's happened and that will happen is the egghead incident

It's not one specific event it's the entire arc that's the incident

Everything from Luffy defeating kizaru

To the buster call fleet

To the gorosei making a move

To vegapunks death

To the message and everything in between

The entire Arc is the egghead incident and upon the end of this arc when the news coos spread the word the world will shake reading what happened in egghead

It's reader bait. Like the return of the lurking legend in Wano.
The lurking legend is the Rocks’ crew which is basically Big Mom and Kaido’s alliance but you guys have poor reading comprehension due to most of y’all not being native English speakers which is understandable.

Moreover, I see a lot of people making the same mistake with the dumb, brain dead interpretation of Hawkin’s prediction of Zoro and Luffy being dead at the end of the month, which he meant the Onigashima battle btw and still people think that it is something yet to come.

And now you’re making another mistake with the Egghead incident which is obviously the broadcast itself; otherwise it’ll be Luffy’s victory against the World Government; but if you ask me, Luffy took an L here regardless of what happens from here on out because he failed to protect Vegapunk

Yes duh. It took Oda a while to clarify this in the story and as far as I know he never outright clarified it.

By reader bait I didn't mean that Oda doesn't deliver on his announcements. I mean that he hypes up the audience within exaggerated titles/names of events etc to keep them from dropping the manga. For the same reason, he overuses cliffhangers, silhouettes and "that guy" statements.

Dude the day they met Hawkins isn’t day 1 of that specific month. It’s like him saying by the end of the month of July you’ll die and he said this on the 16th for example, so that’ll be 2 weeks from now.

Hawkins didn’t say you’ll die one month from now in which case it wouldn’t matter when he said the statement it’ll still be 30 days after the statement was said

Because he is a fucking dumbass, Oda is stupid by being vague, but then again it could be a Japanese thing to always be vague and imply things instead of outright saying them

They don't have bad reading comprehension, they just expected it to be something worth the hype

When he turned him into a pizza and tossed him into a ship and he didn't come back
So Kizaru just choosing not to continue to fight because of his emotional turmoil?
That’s obviously not a defeat, especially when it’s a direct result of his success. Why did you think no one has mentioned anything about defeat?

He still continued to fight even after stabbing Vegapunk he didn't stop until after Luffy threw him away

Emotional turmoil or not he and Luffy fought and Luffy dealt with him

No he didn’t. Luffy grabbed him from behind after he killed Vegapunk and then threw him. He was not interested in fighting Luffy to begin with. So after reluctantly fulfilling his mission, why would he want to keep fighting?

Luffy tossed him away to his lamentations, but that’s obviously not the same as a defeat.
