Hello all,
I have been rewatching some older arcs and catching up with the latest manga chapters, and I cannot help but reflect on the evolution of Sanji's character throughout the series. As a long-time fan; I am curious to hear your thoughts on how Sanji has grown both as a fighter and as a person.
From his introduction in the Baratie arc; Sanji has always been portrayed as a complex character with a strong sense of chivalry and a love for cooking. His backstory; especially the revelation of his ties to the Vinsmoke family; added even more depth to his character. Although, I have noticed that opinions about Sanji's development are quite mixed within the community.
On one hand, many appreciate his dedication to his ideals and his moments of brilliance in battles; such as his fight against Jabra in Enies Lobby and his cunning strategies in Whole Cake Island. On the other hand, some fans feel that his character has been sidelined or that certain aspects; like his interactions with wome; have not evolved much and sometimes come off as repetitive.
How do you feel about his power ups and the way his combat abilities have been portrayed recently?
Also I have gone through this post: https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/forum/threads/sanji%E2%80%99s-character-development-in-devops-1031.21626/ which definitely helped me out a lot.
Do you think Sanji has had significant character development; especially considering his struggles with his family background?
How do you see Sanji's role evolving as we head into the final saga of One Piece?
Also, have anyone watch the new movie?
