There have been quite a few theories about Loki and Ragnarok. However, lately on WG the agenda debates and slander are overtaking the other discussions that we can had. One of the themes that I feel are getting overlooked is the demilitarization or weakening of Elbaf. We are told that Harald wanted to open Elbaf to the outside world (somewhat like Wano), however, the warring nature of giants seemed to stand in the way and they started to change the culture of the country.
The result is that the current gen is most likely weaker than their elders and the kids are completely neutered in this regard with Colon standing out as a violent kid while the others are whiny, crybabies. Now I dont remember the BM flashback but even during her time the WG was in contact with Elbaf and they were still getting kids through Carmel. How much was King Harald involved idk. The focus of WG on giantification and giant kids is weird. Why have the HKs been tasked to kidnap the kids of Elbaf? The most obvious reason would be that they will keep them as hostages and make Elbaf kneel to WG this way. But then why are they starting a game for this? Could there be more to it.
Now coming to the Final War and Lokis role in it. Most theorists look for parallels and similarities between current setting and previous arcs to predict what might come. However, I think it will be a mixture of previous themes from different arcs. Ever since Wano, the SHPs have only had a series of conflicts against WG and not other pirates. Compare it to Yonko saga and the difference is clear. The opponents for SHPs in this arc/saga will be the WG and nobody else. First we get Vivi update, and then she makes Morgans print that X on Luffys G5. Then we get to Egghead and the whole Gorosei episode happens. Even though BBPs were present in Egghead however there was no interaction between them and SHPs. And now in Elbaf the HKs have been mobilized. If we were going to have any other opponent for the arc/saga then Oda would have been building them up, there is no point to show one set of villains and then have the MCs fight a completely new set with no set up.
Now idk how but somehow Loki will be involved in causing Elbaf to declare war against WG and this will be the start of Ragnarok. The set up is there, the WG is kidnapping the kids of Elbaf, the peaceful and antiwar culture transformation will suddenly come to a halt, the warring nation of Elbaf will suddenly awaken. The betrayal by Harald will be revealed. To rescue the kids from WG the SHPs along with some giants (Loki, Dorry Broggy and Hajrudin possibly Grand Fleet) will go to MG to free the kids. Basically it will be similar to Robin rescue arc but instead of Robin it will be the kids of Elbaf. Instead of the toys of DR it will be the kids of Elbaf. Loki will then take his revenge against Shamrock.
With rebellions all over the world, the biggest and strongest nation declaring war on WG will start Ragnarok.
