Speculations The Fun Parts of One Piece Are Over

#1
Hi Worstgen,

I believe there is a simple theme going on with One Piece....

It's as simple as this- Once all the main players are in place, the action snowballs.
- This has already happened.
- The only people left to add to the puzzle are extreme outliers like Urouge

The fun parts of One Piece are gone
- We have begun to snowball, which means that the fun adventurous parts are being sidelined for the plot development parts involving war and an ultimate turn of events.

It was fun back before the Grand Line when there was a lot of mystery to the story, but in the most recent chapters it is becoming like almost every crappy game we ever played when we were kids- genius scientist, ancient technology, some "godlike" being entering the world, uprising in the world, and so on. It sounds like a pokemon game.

The final chapters of One Piece aren't going to be as fun as we expect them to be. We should be happy Goofy is trying to lighten things up.

Talking about mysterie and main characters.

Oda is still adding to it.

Just now we met Vegapunk. Fingarland or whatever his name is. And Royal Knights. We still don't know much about Imu and Gorosei or the Void Century. We don't know about DF creation just a theory of Vegapunk.

If you consider mysterie and characters inportants to main plot fun then you are out of your mind to come with something like that.

One could say that the more serious endgame stuff is more fun to explore as a reader as opposed to the goofy bullshit Oda likes to draw most of the time. There's still plenty of adventure to come, just more mature adventuring, which I'm all for. Elbaf and Raftel are not the final 2 islands, I'm sure Oda will sneak in another 4-5 new islands that we've never heard of. Regardless the end game should be great if its not written like Wano was.
