Today's task is not related to combat and power scaling but trying to figure out the One Piece.

What if the treasure that Roger found is not the true One Piece? What if he only found a piece of it?
A single part of a larger thing. Big Mom did say that part of it is in Wano country too!

> We were too early
That was Roger's conclusion on Raftel, it probably refers to 20+ years later when Joyboy returns and the Mermaid Princess awakens the power to control the sea kings. Both of those hint towards the destruction of Red Line.
Long ago, before the void century, when the 20 kings founded the WG, one among them did something that Imu didnt want and complains about it to this day. Obviously, talking about Lily here and her achievement of spreading the Poneglyphs all around the world...
As Imu points out, it was apparently Lily's mistake or at least that's how she made it look but it was completely intentional.

If Lily was the one who spread them throughout the world, it means that whatever history they contain, it is ancient, written long ago, before VC on top of the information written during the Void Century which is when Lily spread them out.
How can a single person spread those heavy indestructible objects all around the world? Kuma's Paw ability, right?
Correct but as we saw, the Red Line is in the way and prevents them from being spread from one half of the globe to another, not even Kuma himself can send himself flying above it and has to climb it instead.
So how did Lily spread the PGs then? It means that Red Line didn't exist back then when she did that!

Yes, the Void Century is a period of deleted history about 100 years of building the Red Line in order to prevent the true history of the world from being put back together! The Red Line exists for the sole reason of stopping all the Poneglyphs from being reunited. All Poneglyphs reunited is what the true One Piece is - many pieces coming together to form one.

If you are wondering how to put all Poneglyphs back together, the answer probably lies in Paw Paw no Mi's Awakening, whatever was repelled at any point in time, by any user, can be reversed and pulled back. A big stretch but the only logical explanation for now. When Roger arrived at the Laugh Tale, he probably found instructions for what needs to be done and he realized that his great efforts hadn't even scratched the surface yet. He was out of time due to illness, he had no way of destroying the Red Line and Joyboy wasn't back yet just like Poseidon didn't mature yet. What Roger Pirates did is probably not even a 10% of what Strawhats will have to do. All he could do at that point was laugh and wish to have lived in Joyboy's time...

The question is, why did Lily take it apart and spread it around the world if it needs to be put back together...
We dont know what it is when it is put back together.
It could be a weapon, too dangerous to be left in Imu's hands or it is simply a way to prevent Imu from hiding the true history by hiding the One Piece(all PGs). Or it could be the Ancient Kingdom itself!

It has already been foreshadowed through the kingdom of Germa66!
Many pieces form one, many snail ships come together and form one large moving kingdom!!!
Now, imagine if every single snail ship of Germas is equal to one Poneglyph and they are being put together to sail the seas...
But how do heavy objects like Poneglyphs sail the seas???! Did you finally go crazy, nik87?! Not today!

What if they levitated instead of sailing?! What if those objects are made of a rare kind of metal? They are indestructible after all, if we ignore the plothole of Kozukis being able to carve them... What if the ruler of the Ancient Kingdom or his closest friends had the ability that could influence all those pieces and freely manipulated them? You have probably figured out by now which ability I am hinting at... Eustass Kidd's magnetic powers!
Detaching pieces of the kingdom and using those pieces with repel and pull could do serious harm when those pieces are indestructible. Imagine Rail Gun projectile of the size of Poneglyph and the projectile itself is indestructible and reusable... Now imagine all the Poneglyps in the world being used as rail gun projectiles at the same time... Truly horrifying power fitting the ancient Kingdom that forced the 20 kings to band together in order to stop it.

So, back to why Lily took it apart and spread it throughout the world. In order to prevent it from falling into Imu's hands who could have hired a new magnetic user once the ancient user of that fruit died. The ancient Kingdom created the Ancient Weapons so it is not farfetched to assume that the kingdom itself too was also kind of a weapon...

Unlike other Ancient Weapons that can be destroyed, Ancient Weapon in the form of Ancient Kingdom while being indestructible is something worth taking apart and hiding away until the right person shows up.
The Ancient Kingdom was probably ruled by a noble ruler who didnt use its potential for bad deeds and used its indestructible nature to ensure that some ancient history remains available forever. All of this, if true, could be heavily influenced by Laputa, The Castle in the Sky, which one forum user recently pointed out. The levitating ancient castle(kingdom) with detachable pieces(PGs) and the girl(Vivi) who is a descendant of its ruler and the boy(Luffy) who helps her find it. Ancient Robot is there too.
In the end, the destruction of the Red Line is crucial in order to put all the pieces back into One Piece. Even with Kuma's ability, they cannot be pulled back together as they would hit into the massive land stretching all across the world just like Kuma ended up crashing into it.
That's it for today, folks. Soon, we will be back to power scaling threads.

Nik-senpai, you have truly surpassed yourself! :finally:

One question though... how would the Redline be formed though? A popular answer is Pica's devil fruit... but isnt that more logical to be in Wano, where an impenetrable fortress was built after Terraforming?

Sounds hella interesting... but im pretty sure that shithead's answer to all of this would be far too lame, sadly. Great read though, as always!

Pica is the most obvious solution, yes but even for his ability the feat is off the charts.
Red Line is actually made of many islands that were connected so it is little bit less challenging that creating it all from scratch.
However, even with islands already there, I doubt every single one of them were kilometers high so terraforming feat is still nuts.

The answer could be one of the 4 gods mentioned in Skypiea - The Earth God.
Wano walls should be doable for Pica. On the other side, if Pica had 100 years to terraform, maybe Red Line is doable after all...
We can always count on the shithead to disappoint. :feelsokeman:

Either that or it's Pica or Pizarro's fruits awakening as y'all said

Great thread, I have to question a few parts in your theory though:

So how did Lily spread the PGs then? It means that Red Line didn't exist back then when she did that!

It was noted that Lunarians were worshipped as gods and lived on top of the red line. The CDs lived there after the Void century ended, so we can safely say Lunarians lived on it before or during the void century until they were displaced by the CDs.

I will say however, I truly adore the second part of the theory. The poneglyphs fusing together to form one large ancient weapon that is indestructible is a great idea. It could explain why ancient weapon Uranus is absent from the story so far.

Pluton had a poneglyph for its location, Poseidon also had a poneglyph regarding it too. Yet there is none so far that mention Uranus, simply because Uranus has no location to be written down, instead its all poneglyphs brought together to form one structure.

It makes sense for Uranus to be that

It is said that Lunarian lived where Mariejois is today.
And it is said that before Red Line was formed it was made of islands that eventually were connected.
So it could be that Lunarians lived on one of those islands that happened to be in the same spot where MJ is?

This is some good shit, the part about the red line was an actual red pill, and it also raises this question: what of the lunarians who lived on the red line, what if the red line always existed and its just the water receding. That would explain how a lot of people live on sky islands.

You cooked Nikolas. Gordon Ramsey ain't got shit on you. Anyway, I personally believe that the red line is not a natural phenomenon, but is instead man-made. maybe one of the ancient weapons is capable of creating things, like Islands, The Redline & other such landmasses. The paw-paw fruit thing is a bit of a stretch though in my opinion. But i do agree with Roger not finding everything that needed to be found. That's where the Strawhat crew comes in.

W thread Nikolas
