Im confused as to what this "game" is actually supposed to be since there's no clearly defined boundaries.
I thought of a simple idea when this sort of setup was proposed:
Basically you run two games that are connected in parallel: you split the players into boys and girls and make two identical set ups. Could be separate game threads, or still same game thread with simultaneous discussion, the latter I think would be better.
Then, instead of running a whole game per usual, you make it so that boys are only able to vote girls and vice versa. Same goes for kills and actions all exclusively across the isle.
This would allow for direct competition and comparison of results without raising as many issues with competing interest.
In fact this sort of setup opens itself up to some interesting dynamics, for example, town open scumming to cover for one's own sides mafia team.
There's some scenarios that might make this wonky, and potentially other flaws I'm not thinking of at the moment, but thoughts?
