Classification is infact very important
The inferior mythical zoan model is just a casual power to a Logia, and the superior Logia naturally can't be classified under another devil fruit such as the Zoan..

And mythical Zoan are more rare than Logias.. If Logias were actually a class above mythical Zoans then they would be superior to mythical Zoans which they are inferior now.. lol

Which is impossible, the inferior mythical zoan can only be a subset of the superior logias
Logias cannot be zoans because of 2 reasons:
-Outside their elemental weakness, they require haki to damage
-Zoans take after animals, Logias take after elements. So an elemental animal is still a logia, because zoans cannot transform to elements
So unless you can provide a zoan that requires haki to interact with just like a logia then your classification is wrong, and again it should be "Logia class - zoan model" OR what is more likely, seeing how a zoan form is such a huge nerf compared to a logia, an elemental animal form would just be a casual attack like Kizaru's light sword or Kuzan's ice glove

We already saw multiple instances if it. Where elements where created from thin air or objects turned into elements.
You just ignore it because it was not flashy enough and you expect it to be something phenomenal when it simply is not.
Especially since logia can already create a stupid amounts of any element already.
