Edit: Taiwan is very important globally, the US needs to protect it. If China starts feeling themselves like Russia and believes they can begin annexing territories around them, WW3 is right on the way. Better a soft Cold War than more actual BS.

Hopefully Russia's failures convince China to back the fuck off.

If you know history/politics. Russians and Americans are on good terms if they are separated by a continent.
