Digital coloured manga isn't cannon and they colour what they think it should if there's no official colouring by Oda
Gaban haters are on garbage time him being a top tier or close to a top tier is already guaranteed

Because every time you type "Gaban" they substitute it for "Sanji". Beyond power scaling agendas there is no reason to completely rule out the left hand of the ex-pirate king from playing a relevant role in the future of the story since he obviously possess knowledge that the Straw hats don't( Poneglyph/Void century/One piece/ Laughtale) . Seeing as the crew has stumbled upon the remnants of the Roger pirates throughout their journey, especially at checkpoint areas like the Twins capes and Sabaody (entrance to paradise and end of paradise respectively) it's entirely within reason to expect living members to continue to appear. They don't have to be as impactful/relevant as Rayleigh to still serve a purpose, but again, these people have no interest in the story so you're wasting your time. If the silhouette looked like Sunbell they'd have absolutely no issue with it.

Sanji fans have been arguing that Gaban would appear in every new arc for years now because they are just as guilty as substituting “Gaban” for “Sanji“ as anyone.
The series is bloated. The cast of characters is bloated. Gaban is in literally every respect a lesser Rayleigh. Rayleigh can accomplish everything Gaban feasibly could better and has more reason to do it.
What excitement and impact to the story is really made by yet another character who sees Luffy and thinks “oh he’s just like Roger and says the same things, he must be the one we are waiting for.” Then gives him a helping hand on his way.
The only way Gaban would ever have been interesting would be if he decided to support Blackbeard, and that’s not what anyone is suggesting.
Tell me what role Gaban has had in the series to make him relevant lmao.

We don’t, but genuinely I feel like we’d be given a hint to a possible Shiki plot if he was in Elbaf.
Rox is a chance but imo Shiki being the one to expand the rox lore feels wasted since Shiki has notoriety of his own and BB seems like a better individual to explore the rox lore since he named his flagship after him
