I believe that Dragon and the Revs will strike the holy lands soon and will attempt to destroy the WG once and for all.

But they won’t win, in fact they’ll lose big time and will take a massive L from Imu and the holy knights at Mariejoise.

Why? Because the Holy Knights and Imu are meant to be the final antagonist against the Straw hats at Laugh Tale

The revolutionaries are set up to marijois sure but also BB crew since laffite was there Maybe there is a big war there between those 3 crews

I don’t think they’ll join, because I think they’ll attack once Luffy is fighting BB and Akainu has rebelled against the CDs
Dragon will believe this is the perfect time to strike as the CDs have lost their military force
I don’t believe that the God Knights and Imu are stronger than the entirety of the marines, I just treat them as two different factions

Revs aren't going to outright lose or be destroyed at any point of the story. They're meant to be the plot device that explains how the world isn't just in complete chaos due to a power vacuum after the Celestial Dragons are overthrown. They'll have to help create the political body that comes after the current World Government, and help maintain the worldwide relationships between all these different countries.

As to why they have to be the ones to do it: No other group has the political legitimacy. Vivi as an individual is a great politician and a great speaker, but there's no way all the other kingdoms would just blindly listen to the commands of another country's royalty, no matter how good of a person they are.


They'll probably team up with the Straw Hats at some point once they're actually about to fight the Gorosei/Imu, with Luffy fighting Imu, but they'll probably lose one important person (likely Dragon) in a sacrificial manner, or something along those lines.

I doubt it lol. Too much buildup and the leader of the organization is Luffy's father. And his right hand man? Luffy's brother.
They might not win but even if they don't win they're still going to heavily handicap their forces. And if Luffy and his goons are winning, then they'll topple the government outright.

That’s where the straw hats come in, they’ll end up intercepting and fighting BB, while the revs fight the world government in the meantime and will lose.
