The right wing belief in freedom is contradictory

It's so contradictory to tell your supporters we will wage a unwavering culture war on transgenders and gay marriage yet also tell me you give one damn about freedom of any kind
I get the whole, stay away the kids part like their are sociological reasons unrelatedto idealogy like lack of maturity and parental legal authority making the child's consent meaningless, that whole thing needs amended anyway as giving parents this much power over kids has always lead to abuse and this just kinda shows it but if there's grown adults involved no reason why you shouldt support it given you actually are true to your beliefs in freedom of expressions and speech

A bit of a tangent but whatever, it's my thread
You get this claim of virtues signalling often from the political right and it consists of attacking the person, it's saying your doing this charade for social benefit not that you actually care which is so ironic coming from the side who wants to ban video games and porn despite saying but free speech
Also ironic cause people like alex jones were caught with porn on his phone

Another thing too would be, the constant dishonesty like you have right wingers claim the media is biased agasint them which can be true to some sense but it's not true in it's entirety as the right wing channels often get more views on the internet and have more subscribers
Like compare sharpiro to vaush, it's night and day in terms of reach

And you also have to look at context
There is people on the left who have been silenced or punished by youtube so likely not a right wing discriminatory isdue like jessse gender had a video demonitized

You have to remember too where the media was largely right wing and it was just unsupported nonsense like video games are satanic as a example

Bias exist on both sides. Fox has historically manipulated right wingers not to talk real issues but focus on stuff that is least important.

Its also wrong to say all right wingers are bad . However post regan Republicans have pandered to evangelicals and fringe movements unfortunately.

Other than a few family members, most of the people I know are more on the right side of the spectrum than the left but I don't think I've heard anyone I know call video games satanic or speak out against porn and I don't actually know anyone who has a problem with gay marriage. With that being said, those sound like statements from the Christian extreme far right, which I find to be one of the biggest problems with the right wing in general. I have no problem with people practicing whatever religion they choose but it has no place in politics, it's as if there was never an established separation of church and state, tons of politicians use their religion as a platform to run on and it definitely plays a role in the decisions they make in office when it comes to things like gay marriage, abortion, etc, they always use their religious beliefs as justification for the choices they make.

The logical end point of conservativism is fascism.

The essence of conservative ideology is preserving the status quo. There are those the law protects but does not constraints and does the law constrains but does not protect. There are those who are meant to have and those who are meant not to.

Conservatives want all the benefits of society but none of the duties and responsibilities that come with that. They are cancer.

Congratulation for the dumbest statement

You donโ€™t think the left is contradictory? They preach acceptance of everyone yet want to silence/cancel anyone that doesnโ€™t share their views.

itโ€™s contradictions on both sides.
the most sane comment. The degenerates from both sides kill the reasonable middle.

Well the said reality is that majority of US politicians are right wing and that includes Democrats. Most politicians are authoritarian right with it being very rare for there to be a libertarian leftist, Bernie Sanders being one of them. American society is deeply rooted in Captialism and you need authoritarian right policies to fuel Captialism. Less power to the people and more power to the corporations who control majority of thr wealth. True leftists and socialism is solely getting weeded out.

I think the thing where people say leftists try to cancel anyone that doesn't align with their views is weird.

Most of the things leftists push back on are stuff like racism or homophobia or transphobia and shit. Why exactly would they show "acceptance" to a side that regularly partakes in these things?

Its pretty much this lmao

Wanting to restrict freedoms in one area doesn't mean that you don't want to have freedoms in another area. No one wants to grant another unrestricted freedom in all areas. Solved your contradiction.
