Coincidence or not it’s pretty funny that the strongest strongest pirates and marines in recent history use the power of shockwaves/internal damage

Obviously having that type of ability doesn’t automatically or inherently make you the strongest like at all but the fact all 4 lowkey specialize in those type attacks is interesting


Whitebeard can obviously do it through his devil fruit with it literally giving him the power to make earthquakes
Roger being Mr. Haki himself is likely able to do so through his haki aka mastering the 3rd level of armament


Sengoku through his Buddha fruit can also create his own shockwaves that’s to it’s special ability
Garp also does it but whether it’s being of his Rokuogan aka the secret seventh rokushiki technique or “just” the 3rd level of armament idk. I personally think it’d be cooler it was through him being a rokushiki master but either way is cool


But yeah I just think it’s cool

Akainu is definitely stronger than prime Sengoku (probably Garp as well) and he's not using any shockwave.

Roger's fighting style so far is with a sword not with shockwaves but we all know why you added him.

WB aside due to his destructive df, these shockwaves from Garp/Sengoku are mainly for fodder control, i can't recall any significant damage done by them to strong characters.

Akainu stronger than prime garp means akainu is stronger than prime Roger as well. It's very hard for akainu to be even above shanks for that matter.

The current FA > previous FA imo. At worst they are equals (unlikely if u ask me).

The previous FA is comparable/equal/close to prime Garp.

It's not absurd to think that the current FA is stronger than them tbh.

I can see two scenarios Akainu >= Prime Garp >= Prime Sengoku or P Garp>= Akainu >= P Sengoku

Sengoku can give Roger a good fight but only garp received the portrayal of nearly killing Roger bunch of times.

It's prime garp > Akainu>= Prime Sengoku imo.

Eh I’d put Garp a tier below those two. Garp has to have Sengoku fight along side him when shiki came to Marineford and still the fight was long and nearly destroyed Marineford

I can imagine Roger and Primbeard 2v1ing Shiki and it being a serious fight.

What feats chicken king have to suggest that he high diffs Prime Garp when he himself always said that he and Garp always nearly killed each other?

This was just Oda giving Shiki some respect because he doesn't like top tiers losing in straight 1 vs 1. Even Kaido and his bet on him in 1 vs 1 doesn't have any clean win against a top tier.
Marco was able to stall King and Queen for a while despite many seeing him as inferior to King
In the end Garp was completely scratchless post-fight while Shiki was bathing in his blood

There was no confirmation of how that fight ended, however, Shiki still half destroyed Marineford and heavily injured a lot of marines in this fight.

It’s too devastating for this to be a fight between 3 people on the same tier. Marco King and Queen is different since we saw King and Queen never fought seriously and both are defensive based fighters and Marcos almost indestructible for most of a fight. The same can’t be said for Garp Sengoku and Shiki.

The injured marines we saw were before Garp and Sengoku intervention

It’s too devastating for this to be a fight between 3 people on the same tier. Marco King and Queen is different since we saw King and Queen never fought seriously and both are defensive based fighters and Marcos almost indestructible for most of a fight. The same can’t be said for Garp Sengoku and Shiki.

A lot of assumption considering the fight was off-screen. Shiki was bloodlusted and his power it's easy for him to destroy a chunk of Marineford which is a pretty small island. Oldbeard split it in half with a single punch.
King and Queen not fighting seriously is an excuse, there are no reason to assume they were getting ragdolled on purpose when they showed annoyance at Marco. The reality is that in Oda's mind you can stall two people on similar tier for a while as long they not going all out.

Sengoku was confident he could take down Shiki himself and he's an extremely prudent guy :
2 vs 1 Shiki allowed them to save up energy and avoid unecessary injuries

And Shiki got clapped ultimately who tf cares if Oda saved face by allowing him to resist for a while. Roger avoiding a fight with BM and Edward "Nobody touch my family" Newgate refusing to face Kaido and free Oden country are much more devastating 😂

1. No the injured marines was after the fight. The panel showed Marineford half destroyed with screaming about Saving the injured.

2. It’s not an excuse when we saw the fight and noticed Queen never even using his Germa kit and King never using any of his flame abilities.

3. Sengoku didn’t though, that was when those two were about to infiltrate the ebb war and shiki and roger even in their injured state after fighting got away Scott free.

4. Saying shiki got clapped is cope here. It’s clear that the fight was serious enough to need both of these two and still Marineford got half destroyed. No way this fight was a one sided massacre.

Garp is still stronger than any yonko we’ve met, but he ain’t on the par of Roger and Primebeard heck we’re even told during Marineford Primebeard is the only man who’s ever fought Roger to a standstill.
