Facts. Which is why I never understood why a Zoro fan who is starving for a proper fight since the timeskip, would detest the thought of Zoro vs King. Like it was sacrilegious to mention it.

Why would a Zoro fan not want a full blown Zoro fight? Talk about being deep into the shithole of forum dickmeasuring.

It took some people this long to be driven into a corner, to finally accept a fight that any fan should be starving for. Sad but atleast we're here now.

He didn't right? He momentarily chose to display his superiority in Swordsmanship and overpowered Zoro.

He isn't going to continue with that for the rest of the fight.

Its either he's going to lose for this, or he'll get owned and turn back to his most efficient fighting style.

King can't compete in swordsmanship with zoro and his magic swords.

Will depend almost entirely on how Zoro beats him tbh.

If it‘s another Mr 1 where once Zoro works out what his deal is, he one-shots, then that’ll be a bit meh.

If Zoro works out how to fight him, and then the two go on to have a proper fight, that’s a lot better. Could have potential to be Zoro’s best fight so far in that case. My hope is that, like with Luff vs Katakuri, there’s a CoC clash between the two that signals the real start to the fight.

So far I’ve enjoyed the fight, I think it’s got a good flow to it. King’s background race mystery is more interesting than he is as an individual, though.

Exceeding expectations? Slightly. He was disappointing in his fight with Marco- the part we actually saw, I don’t care about off-panel shit. But as a right hand Oda was unlikely to permanently shaft him (poor old Jack did not have that protection) but King did have the looks of him being a but if an afterthought in an arc packed with characters. That’s been turned around. Most One Piece fights go with the villain being on top first, so I’m not especially losing my mind over him beating up Zoro at the start

We're well past the stage of Zoro treating King like a toddler. Zoro is rethinking his entire life rn. Even looks like he's about to get a boost mid fight.

If you mean Zoro is eventually gonna gain control and beat King. I mean no shit? I for one even think it'll take one good attack to do him in, that's how most Zoro fights have ended.

But if Oda is gonna make an exception on anyone it will be a rhm. So who knows, King might even take hiryu kaien soon.

Most swordsmen fights end in one attack, given how lethal swords are it makes sense.

That doesnt mean the fight prior to that opening wasnt tough.
