A few thing I will fore er be disappointed with this arc are the following.

1. Ikkaku not heing afforded the opportunity to have his banka repaired nor getting the special training that rukia renji etc got at the 0 division palace

2. Ichigo not utilizing more capabilities from his hollow, shinigami or quincy side. His quincy sword could have shot quincy arrows, his hollow side should utilize ceros while his shinigami side used a few hados. His other abilities can be a combination between all of his power set simultaneously. For example his banking should have the qualities of hollow (which they did) and a quincy volstanding.

3. The vizards whom became captains not USING there hollow forms especially when we found out that quincy are weak to hollow powers.

4. Not seeing hisagis bankai.

5. Shinji not using his bankai when his shikai failed against the bomb chick. And no its cap that his shikai is better in 1v1s or that it's superior to his bankai. Not only is there 0 proof of said statement but we also know that his bankai does what his shikai already does with the extra ability of tricking his foes into attacking their comrades (though he can't use this when he is with a group of his comarades). If he uses his bankai in a 1v1 match it can simply trick his opponent into hurting his or herself or tricking them into thinking that they and shinji are actually comrades since his bankai reverse the set reality within that space.

6. All parts of the soul king not becoming one again for us to visually see

7. Neither ichigos dad or uryus dad having incredible fights in the series especially in the final arc and neither of them teaming up with each other to fight a major antagonist showcasing their bankai (isshin) or volstanding (uryus dad)

Ikkaku is not that important of a character, he's lucky that he got a bankai. Renji and Rukia are much closer to Ichigo to than he is.

He literally had no time to train. Who is training him on using his hollow abilities? He just finished and went down to fight immediately, didn't have time to fully train. How is he gonna use Hado when nobody trained him in Kido? Who taught him to use quincy abilities when Uryu is on the enemy team?

It never once stated that shinjis bankai only forces foes and enemies to attack each other indiscriminately. It states that enemy and allies confuse themselves on who is friend and whom is foe. Which means if he uses it In a 1v1 the enemy will confuse themselves into thinking that whom they are fighting (shinji) will be their friend/ally and not their foe which means even in 1v1 its busted. Read. It's just super dangerous when shinji is around actual comrades. There is nothing hinting or stating that it's useless in a 1v1. If there is find it and post it

All the other examples you gave still falls under piss poor writing. Shunsui had to request permission from Central 46 to even train Kenpachi and to free Aizen. Unohana, despite being able to fight, still followed orders from her superior and stayed back to heal. They don't disobey orders if they are committed to being part of the Gotei 13.

Ichigo's dad lost his powers for the longest time, Rukia and Ichigo didn't have much interaction compared to the other 3 main characters after the SS arc. Urahara didn't teach him Kido because at the time, he was able to properly control his reiatsu. They also didn't have time.

Put in a timeline where they had an opportunity to train Ichigo. There isn't any.

Love how you also glanced over the fact that ichigo did use cero in his getsuga against bach when he used his 1 horned form. So the cero training excuse is more cap.

They didn't just give permission like that even after the Quncies came in the first invasion and wrecked them. He had to go ask for it.

Also cap shinji never once implied or stated that his bankai is terrible 1v1. Show me a link in manga , anime or any other canon source material in which he says so. The only thing he has ever stated about his banka is that he can't use it when allies are with him. So again cap. Your example of why he didn't use it is also even more ass since hisagi didn't use his bankai and irs broken and could have assisted. So with your analogy I guess hisagi has a trash bankai as well since he didn't use 1v1. I guess hollowfication was also ass against that quincies that are weak to it since none of the captains used it (again adding to why you example towards shiji is ass).

Exactly. On one hand you provided where soul society got permission (aizen and kenpachi) and on the other hand you mentioned how soul reapers didn't even have to ask for permission (hollowfying bankai). So both examples show that is ASS to think that the vizards couldn't hollowfy since we have examples of inviduals gaining permission for even worse things or not having to get permission for the smaller things. So cap.

The not gaining control over his reitsu is also moot since he still obtained shikai, bankai and other soul reaper techniques so him not learning one or two kido is ASS
