I mean the recent events in wano arc. The story of Oden greatly damaged the character's reputation. It didn't make sense that he didn't know what was going on at Wano.

Yeah that part is really really shady. We really need that Marco gives us an explaination about that. because it is werid that WB did nothing.

The Oden story did great damage to the character.

But the part of the flashback between Oden and Wb was one of the best part of Wano and clearly the best part of the flashback. WB was amazing there : the way Wb refused Oden first, then the moment he accepted Oden in the crew as a brother, the adventures, when they talked with Roger etc.

This flashback really embodies WB personality.
