never seen anyone complain ab this bullshit writing by Oda.

2 random people immediately becomes the most powerful men of the marines.

So disrespectul to Akainu, Aokiji, Kizaru they actually grinded for years to get to where they are.

And they dont even perform well fuji is damn near an ally and greenbull is greenbull.

Made any other marine not an admiral useless. Oda did the marines dirty thats why he needs the seraphim EOS because he killed any other marines reputation and hype.

Oda could've have integrated them in the story better

No hints about a world draft before, nver happened but oh btw we recruited 2 new admirals through world draft.

Is kaido and big mom backstory considered as a world draft?

Actually. The draft was great writing i only wish Oda dived into more. The OP world is so vast where it's absolutely unreasonable to assume there aren't Top Tier guys around that simply don't give a fuck about this entire Navy/pirate thing.

First of all they were already top tier strong. So it is only logical to have that kind of individual as Admiral other than weaker ones that remained as Vice-Admiral.

Although I would love to see Momonga as Admiral.

Second, what are Kizaru, Aokiji and Akainu feats as marines? Kizaru beated Fishmen not sure if he killed Tiger but he arrested 500 random pirates at Sabaody that's all. Kizaru... Literally nothing, correct me if I'm wrong. Akainu is responsible for killing everybody at Ohara but besides that he has no feats against a real threat pirate. Fujitora is responsible for ending the Shichibukai system so the Marine/WG could hunt all pirates as it should be. Greenbull is responsible for arresting Weevil.

So I would say from all Admirals the ones quotted for Fleet Admiral position were the ones who least deserved.

And if we add Garp and Sengoku to the equation. Garp is a Marine Hero responsible for ending the Rocks Pirates along with Roger. He and Sengoku also arrested Shiki at Marineford. Sengoku besides that team up with Garp to arrest Shiki has no other known feat. Kong is also featless.

It seems pretty much that Marines/WG used to reward featless marines into higher positions and just now they are rewarding marines that actually deserve it.

im talking about the process of recruitment and advancing through the ranks. not the power level aspect and their feats as an admiral

Dude just look at Marineford. Everybody that is Vice-Admiral(but Garp) and under was pretty much useless against anyone that wasn't fodder or Luffy. No Vice-Admiral could be a strong Admiral. Marine name would be ruined if they ended up having weak Admirals.

Yea the whole power balance system make no sense , why do you have to have only 3 admirals ? why not do a world draft every year so that you stackup your admirals , 5,6,10 admirals should be something the gorosei want.
