There is already a "Kaguya" character in the story. There has been since the beginning. Her name is Nami.
In The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter Kaguya was found and adopted by a Bamboo Cutter and his Wife.
Nami was found as an orphan in a War torn Country and adopted by Bellemere.
In the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, every time the Bamboo cutter cut into Bamboo, he found a gold nugget.
Nami's character is obsessed with money.
The biggest and most in your face parallel to a Nami/Kaguya connection was on Skypiea though.
In The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, when the time came, Kaguya, with a heavy heart told her loved ones that she must leave the Earth and return to Moon, which is her true home.
On Skypiea, although it was to just save herself at the time, Nami opted to join Enel and head to the moon with him.
How Oda goes about completing his incorporation of the story remains to be seen, but I guarantee it will tie in with Nami being one of the "Triggers" of One Piece.
Also, I am sure there is a lot more references to a Nami/Kaguya connection, but I'm just to lazy to sift through the manga and look for them. If anyone else wants to take this, and role with it, then have it it.
And for the record, in Japanese mythology, Kaguya was never an "Evil Person". That's just the type of variation of the character that Kishimoto chose to create in his own story. That doesn't mean that's the route that Oda would take that type of character.
