The sole purpose of Mihawk joining Cross Guild and Buggy then pushing towards the PK race is for Zoro eventually facing off with him. So far, Buggy's luck was tremendous, fate pushed him to become a Shichibukai and now even a Yonko, who is carried by Mihawk's power, who has double to bounty of Crocodile and a bounty even surpassing the perceived captain.

Buggy's previous luck suggests that he will outlive his competitors one way or another. That's the entire narrative around Buggy. He definitely won't fight the RHP, and he won't face of with the BB pirates either. It will probably start with BBP vs RHP and then continue with SHP vs. BB, either before or after the WG. While Buggy, as always, will somehow wriggle his way through and probably end up in Raftel.

Buggy going down any time earlier doesn't fit the narrative of him making it through by some means.

They won't be enemies just like SHP aren't enemies with RHP, they will just both be in the race for PK. CG will not just vanish into thin air, neither will they fight the BB or RHP. The narrative will just go like this: SHP, RHP, BBP and the WG will somehow cancel each other out til one comes out atop (which will be SHP), while Buggy as always will profit and wriggle his way through.

The biggest mistake you made is trying to make Mihawk and Shanks the same.

Shanks is Luffy's inspiration and idol. Luffy doesn't it need to fight or beat Shanks. He just need to prove to him he's a great pirate. Shanks promise to Luffy was he won't see him until Luffy becomes a great pirate. Luffy has become a great pirate.

Mihawk is the person Zoro must beat to achieve is goal. Zoro doesn't idolize him. Mihawk promised to wait at the top for Zoro. Zoro must beat Mihawk to achieve his goal.

The only reason you don't want to see Mihawk vs Zoro is because you are scared of Mihawk's true. We won't see that power until they fight.We are know the loner it takes for their battle the stronger Mihawk will be.

I told you many times that Shanks wasn't gonna be Luffy's major enemy to beat !

It was obvious that Oda isn't gonna have Luffy beat his idol in a serious battle.
He didn't make him fight seriously nor beat Gorosei and Kizaru last arc due to the fact, they won't make Luffy stronger, they're not important as Imu and Teach are to him
