CP0 showed up in person to make deals with Orochi because Doflamingo was gone. Mingo knew how useful he was and was flexing, which is consistent with his character. He freaked out seeing a glimpse of Fuji's power, but tricks to kick him and plan his downfall when he now knows that latter is passive. He also panics at the idea of angering Kaido. He also thought:
-he could kill Smoker Infront of Kuzan
-that Vergo could handle Luffy and Law
-that Daimante could handle Luffy and Burgess
-that him and family can handle Fujitora with a plan
-that Pica alone can handle everyone in Dressrosa including Fuji
-that he can overpower KKG head on despite failing multiple times

He's just as arrogant as arrogant can be.
Yes just like Crocodile. Someone who Mihawk sees as an equal partner.

This is from an ex Admiral's mouth himself.

But no man, Doffy is totally no big deal, his armament haki sucks bro, he was getting ping ponged by DR G4 Luffy duude, how can he be a bigshot in this verse? The characters in verse don't know the calcs from Dressrosa like I do

To be frank, the fact that Doffy managed to dig such an important position for himself in the world's balance of power politics thanks to his knowledge and mastery over the blackmarket is badass in and of itself.

Dude had pretty much every big faction on the globe in his pockets from the WG (celestial dragon secrets) to the Yonko (the Smiles and BM's gigantification project) all the way to the revolutionaries who had to infiltrate his kingdom to stop the flow of weapons that were losing them wars. Not to mention his status as a Warlord. Dude was undeniably one of the most influencial individuals around.

Itโ€™s pointless bringing up panels, these people legit donโ€™t care what the story says and just roll with their headcanons

An ex-admiral was telling the Navy to bring in an admiral for Doffy. The same ex-admiral neg-diffed Cracker.

Cracker - 0
Doffy - 1

It's funny how this guy also handwaved Cracker into irrelevancy, while hyping Doflamingo to high heavens.

Add to that; it's not like trebol, diamante, pica or vergo were some big shots. They were literally street thugs living in a hut near a scrapfield. You gotta admire how they worked all their way up while starting from such a position.

The OP of this thread thought he did something:kobeha:

When did I say Mingo wasn't a big deal? And why are equating a panel about his connections to power levels? Mingo had the whole blackmarket at his fingertips and was the guy keeping everyone in line. He took full advantage of his position. The moment Mingo feel was when chaos truly started, and Mingo himself mocked Tsuru and the Marines for letting that happen.

But yeah his COA objectively is at the basic levels. Don't really know why you bring that up in the first place.

Ignoring the fact that Doflamingo was obviously strong enough to hold his own mixed in with his connections which created an "exceptionally rare class of pirate", why are you trying to make this a purely power level thing, when this thread is taking a shot at his overall ability as a pirate, not a 1v1 boxing match?

You the one who brought up power level stuff. I literally started off my first post by saying CP0 had to make deals themselves cause Mingo was gone, and that Mingo knew how useful he was. His position made him even more arrogant, and all of his bad decisions shows this. It's all addressing Fujishiro's posts about how Mingo was flexing to Mr. Go saying he can quit at any time, when that was obviously false since we know how mandatory the position was to him.

It's arrogance. You know, personality. Enough with the raw power level talk.

Doflamingo without his warlord position would still have information over the world government big enough to keep on bribing them

He and his crew would definitely need to ally themselves to one of the emperors if they wanted to stay in the new world tho tbf

As for him being fodder to the world governmentโ€ฆ obviously lol. Every group is fodder to the world government
:sanmoji:

At least unlike the other losers in his generation he was actually able to stay and make a name for himself in the new world
Man was the king of the underworld and undeniably was the closest thing to a 5th emperor there was

Could he make it in the new world alone as ambitious as he is? No but neither could the other warlords and they werenโ€™t even half as successful and decided to run

your average VA is one shot material for a generic strong right
no wonder the marine had to ally with the warlords prior to the seraphim to match the emperors.
Otherwise it'll be fleet admiral, the 3 admirals vs the emperors, the commanders and the vets together considerng the likes of Red King would literally die in the crossfire
