General & Others This move from Zoro was far more impactful for me than Hiryuu Jingoku

It showed Zoro's calm assessment about his opponent's weakness and motion, a dose of ruthlessness to sacrifice his own face in order to ensure his exchange landing, and the best was the quick decision-making on how which named attack to launch and as a precise counter at that, not just as a simple attack relying on brute force. Imo it was a rare jewel of post-TS Zoro moment. I dont know whether we will see something like this again in Zoro's future fight, but i certainly do hope so.

He didn't sacrifice his face, he blocked it

Correct. He didn't sacrifice his face. He blocked it like earlier.

Even thought he didn't sacrificed his face for the reason above I do agree with the rest. King is an incredibly skilled fighter who uses and switch between his different fighting styles. That in itself can be hard to deal with. Zoro perfectly countered King's attack and uses it to create an opening and hit King.

I believe the fighting skills Zoro displayed in this battle is the type of skills needed to beat characters like Mihawk and Shanks. They may not have strong/durable bodies like Kaido and Big Mom. They have strength in other ways. Their fighter skills makes them hard to hit. If they can't be hit they can't be hurt.

Then there's the famous sword catcher scene.

In the past King was able to surprise Zoro and take his swords.

Now, Zoro used his CoC/CoA blast to free his swords and blow King away.

That was amazing. The way Zoro is growing during this battle remembers me of his growth from his battle with Kaku.
