he was one of the most feared villains in op history but now got clowned twice in one arc

Oda made him way too belligerent and cocky. Even after Luffy beat him again he decided that wasn't enough and tried to go after Zoro.
If he goes and fights Sanji after this I'm done.
But for what it's worth he was definitely one of the best villains in the series pre ts

One of my favorite OP characters ever. His Awakening design is INCREDIBLE. Unfortunately though he gets his ass whooped a whole lot.

Good character, he alongside saturn and kizaru served to show how insanely powerful G5 is while also showing how overestimated king was.

• But jokes aside, i really liked how much Oda respected Lucci in TS, some people can think Lucci was nothing more than deluxe punchbag but I don't see it that way, rising to the position of CP0 one-shott Sentomaru, fighting G5 Luffy and then Santoryu Zoro and still remaining standing was undeniably a W.

He was a very effective villain in pre skip ennies lobby. He produced good threat level. Decent villain from pre skip. Personally I am indifferent towards him.

As for post skip , I don't think oda should have brought him back. He got clowned by luffy and zoro.

1. His designed didn't changed a shit he only got a white outfit, which I like it more, and an awakening form(with slightly variations just like his hybrid had). 10/10
2. His charisma... He is not charismatic. Lol. Definitely not the popular guy at school and far from being a politician. It didn't changed during timeskip.
3. As a villain he was pretty good pre timeskip. Can't say perfect since he was pretty generic and not the level of Crocodile and Doflamingo. Post timeskip he is ass as a villain. Has the same flaws of being generic but not he is just arrogant without backing up his words and had too much plot armor on his favor.
4. Oda treated him poorly. Would be 100x better if he didn't had awakening in first place.
5. His role in Egghead is still mysterious to me. He failed to server as proper hypetool or anything else.
