To me Itachi fans repersents the biggest fall in Humanity and how people are at their sbdolute worse in modern age.

He didn't stop a war he just won it for stronger side. Like you don't prevent wars by killing every single last breathing enemy you have. I mean you do but not in the sense that you mean. Uchiha still went to war with konoha, they just got soloed by the two stringest uchiha traitors alive. Like the village wasn't saved an ethnic group was eradicated.
In the context of the manga had Itachi not eradicated the Uchiha a civil war was going to break out and it would leave the Leaf in a vulnerable position that would lead to an actual Shinobi War. We were told this multiple times by different characters

It wasn't itachis sacrifice it was the Uchiha's. He's not a God and doesn't have domain over human life. You can suck his dick till good writing sprays out it still makes him nothing more than a genocidal traitor. If he was a real person you wouldn't want to be friends with him, you wouldn't want him on your team let alone in your clan. I know he killed his friends and family, that's my point. HE took EVERYTHING from the people he murdered and the things he supposedly cared about were those people. Without finishing his resove and have his little brother killed then it means nothing. These are just things he wanted. He didn't ask anybody in the village "hey what do you want a civil war or to slaughter all of the uchiha except my lil brother." It's not like the most important thing in the world is a few years of peace, like 5 years later Orochimaru and the sand attacked the village, later pein destroy the entire village. I can't speak for everyone, but I just find Hisoka a very "interesting" character. I certainly don't "simp" for him and I won't cry for him when he finally get's killed off.
I never liked Itachi much, I just think he could have went about it all in a different way. I strongly dislike that he joined the Akatsuki and helped kill various Jinchuriki too.
Itachi is dead.he made about zero contribution to the story and scales as slightly stronger than Orichimaru. His accomplishments are killing his own people, fostering his brother into being an emotional psychopath, stopping the edo tense and creating a shitty fanbase.
Compare that to a Hao or jiriya or even Tsunade he's fucking lame as hell. Jiriya trained Minato naruto, Nagato, konan and yahiko. Among more. All kage or kage level plus ninja that changed or saved the world and their villages.
Tsunade changed the ninja world by creating a three system team including a field medics. Saving hundreds of thousands of lives and millions into the future. She also saved the lives of just about every ninja in the village. Great hokage. Turned shitty Sakura into a beast by herself. Sakura didn't learn a single useful move from anyone else. It was due to tsunades training that Sakura landed that punch on kaguya.
Gai is the greatest taijutsu user in all of Naruto and easily the strongest living ninja using his own might. All these konoha ninjas changed the world for the better and protected and guided their villages into success. Itachi just killed his family.even among the uchia people like Madara and obito were more monumental in making the world a better place.
Sasuke didn't even do the right thing and marry and impregnate mutiple women. Through some action of restoring his clan as his initial goal was. Itachi could have left a handful of uchihas alive I'm the village but he was a dumb kid pretending to be wise and his lineage pays the price for that.
