From his connection to the Shimotsukj Clan, who is solely responsible for giving birth to Orochi ascending to being the Shogun, via Yasuie who took Orochi in, and Orochi killing him after Oda developed a bond between Zoro and Yasuie, to Oda developing a bond between Zoro and Hiyori, who wants to see Orochis downfall more than anyone.

I have absolutely no clue how you guys think that the resolution to Zoros Shimotsuki plotline is supposed to come at the hands of killing Kaido, when all the deep rooted lore of the Shimotsuki is directly tied to Orochis entire plotline.
