So then Yasuie, the man directly responsible for this, was then hunted down by Orochi, strung up, and executed. This is directly tied to Zoro's plotline with Yasuie.

Then, Zoro gets his plotline tied to Hiyori. The woman who was forced to live as a prostitute, and be a service to Orochi for years.

Hiyori and Yasuies plotlines have absolutely fuck all to do with Kaido, and everything to do with Orochi. Zoro is connected to Wano and the Shimotsuki's who are directly connected to Orochi.

None of this shit has anything to do with Kaido. Zoro killing Kaido brings absolutely no closure or insight into Zoro's Wano and Shimotsuki plotline.
