oden is one

He will be pseudo-Yonko level and I think that is where Oden falls

I think there's a better approach here: out of all the Wano versions of Luffy, which one do you think current Zoro is most comparable to?

Yeah, I don't think there's any way for Zoro to have already fulfilled the role of being the "monster samurai."

Kaido didn't just talk about a monster samurai, he talked about a monster samurai like Oden

During the King fight, Zoro implied that he was still not on Oden's level (although this was before he got ACoC)

Even now I don't think he is as strong as Oden yet. I think he'll leave Wano being on that level and being that monster samurai for the people of Wano to look at as their next legendary warrior

yes he thinks oden is capable of killing him thus the monster samurai
zoro basically reached the scarring level , he was disappointed that he wasnt able to reach the killing kaido level which he himself said when he wasnt able to knock kaido down .

after gaining acoc he is prob at that level ( capable of killing kaido ) he just needs to do it and show it .

Opening wano is bigger than just kaido or even oden himself
Oden knew even if it wasn't him that kaido was going to be defeated in a 20 year timespan

Oden did have multiple massive dreams integral to him
1. Going out to sea to adventure and be free
2. Have wano open up

Luffy also has 2 main dreams
1. Become the pirate king aka the freest man and just have fun and adventure
2. Whatever he and roger said

To accomplish his dream luffy is going to have to fight and defeat yonko. Defeating yonko isn't his dream

Since his last words in battle was about Kaido to never comeback to Wano which means he wanted to beat and force kaido to leave for good.

Oden has made it clear after returning to wano that he wants to open the borders of Wano

I don't think so. It's more that getting rid of Orochi won't actually bring the change that the people of Wano hope for, but getting rid of Kaido will

besides does it matter? .. Zoro literally spat the fact on king that their reign on their county has lasted long enough.. alluding to his grievances.. and defeated the right hand of the problem itself..you are underestimating how much that adds to "opening up wano"
