Definitely interesting theory.

O Toko being small kid to Yasui who naturally should be instead Grampa to her do seems odd enough for me to consider this theory a good possibility.

But like @MD Zolo raised the Df and smile df inconsistentcy that makes me doubt the theory. The smile shouldn't have worked on already a devil fruit user. Plus mentally she doesn't look so mature like Toki would have been.
So i think other theories like Toko not being Yasu Kid and not Toki seems more probable to me.

can you tell why the given SMILE to villagers are called Failed Experiments ? if they had DF qualities they shouldnt be called failed

and DFs are supposed to be one in a kind while there are 1000s of failed SMILE users and there is no interference.... and what makes you think each SMILE user ate only one apple, they sure couldve eate many apples then why there no interference of one to another

First thing this is uncharted territory, so any of this could be right n wrong and i dont know any better. It's just my personal feeling on this one for my disagreement.

Now to answer your question, your second para could easily also be intrepreted as these smiles not working on those who already ate failed smiles, hence no interference to each other. Its not like the negative effecfs of smiles started accumulating on those who ate multiple failed smiles and laugh more than others.

Hence i personally feel artificial failed smile symptoms also wouldn't work on someone who already is a df user. Since dfs are superior to artificial df, and these ones are failed ones.

yeah and so they/SMILE not same as DFs but more like disease/drugs....so whether they already have DF or not it could affect them...that is if this theory is how it actually happened :p
