Adult toshiro showed better feats than bankai kenny. Both had not master their bankai.
I think a hypothetical fight between prime fully mastered bankai kenny and prime adult hitsyugaya ends in a tie.
For now adult hitsyugaya > Kenny without bankai mastery (can't use full power of his bankai) >> Shikai kenny > Bankai hitsyugaya.

Shikai kenny failed to do any damage to pre vollstandig gerald's hax shield which reflects damage. Adult toshiro was able to bypass the hax shield and cut it in half when gerard was much stronger in his vollstandig mode.
Toshiro flash freezes and cuts shikai kenpachi in half.
It legit was Bankai Kenny > Giant pre volstandig gerard > Shikai kenny.
Adult toshiro was performing good feats against volstandig giant gerard who kenny never fought other than holding his leg for 1 second iirc.

kenpachi literally cut Gerard arm off in the first encounter while the sword was still sealed . Yet you are worrying about the shield?

all hitsugaya was doing was flash freezing his opponents like he always do which do no damage whatsoever when they get out of it. It's not as potent as rukia's ice

I assume you have not read the fight. Gerard's shield is special as it has hax to reflect any attack. His body does not have that ability. Shikai kepachi failed to do anything to his shield. And it was bankai kenny who was dominating pre vollstandig giant gerard.
Shikai kenny can't as he was portrayed weaker than giant pre vollstandig gerard where adult toshiro was doing good against vollstandig gerard.
He literally cut vollstandig gerard's hax shield in half lol where shikai kenny couldn't do shit to pre vollstandig gerard.

no overall kenpachi is stronger you're just going off feats that he did against Gerard which he barely did any damage to by the way. Byakuya and kenpachi are the only ones that went for the kill the best hitsugaya can do is slow Gerard down.
