It is not about he will lose. he was going to win if urek did not interfere
Well I didn't liked that urek interfered. Traumerei should have been killed. But I am talking in general. Traumerei > Gustang minus flames of his wife which he can only use once. Traum was not using full power from the start. Only after absorbing are we seeing his full power. It's like luffy not using adv coc against admirals.

Luslec is underrated. Even if urek remotely used any significant power , the fact luslec without going all out was able to hold his own is mad impressive. I won't be surprised if current luslec is stronger than Gustang/Traumerei.
He had the balls to go vs Urek i give him that.....not sure if he's above any irregular but tbh this chapter makes us look at power gaps quite differently so who knows

Yeah Luslec is no where near any FHs I think. He can probably keep them occupied with his weird powers but don’t think he can do anything more than that.

Regarding Gustang, I think SIU is going with he’s still coping with killing his friend gimmick. So we can’t even consider that he’s going all out. Only when he started using Blossom’s spark, he started going for the W. Maybe he used the spark because it’s a hard counter to Trau’s shinsu ability. Big Cope I know but he has been very disappointing for all the talk this fight

I doubt that Traum is getting Levi back. That is Baam's power now.
I hope he does. In the end, that's still Traumerei's power. Quite a decent chunk from the looks of it. It'd be underwhelming if we never see what Traumerei can do with all his power.

There's plenty of opportunities for that to happen. At the end of the day, I think Traumerei should get his memories back. It should be one of the arc's most awaited moments, and the only way for that to happen is if he comes in contact with Levi.

We forget that there's Lulsec though I can't accept him being able to stop Urek after the man no diffed 2 Family Heads final attack lol

So if SIU doesn't smoke anything weird it's all up to Urek now
It's interesting we don't get any info on Luslec this chapter. Maybe the man has already been off-screened by Urek lmao.

Just kidding. Anyways, the next chapters are probably going to be crucial to determine gaps between all these characters. I doubt Gustang or Traumerei will just step down, call it a day and go for a drink. And Luslec should still be around the area most likely.

no one cares if trau is stronger than gutang if he would have died if they fought. All I am saying is that the author never once let trau win

Tbh it always looked like everything was against Traum from the start of this..... everyone was planning to betray him in one way or another, Gustang always looked like he was playing 5D chess even now it looked like Traum was gonna get smoked badly and yet......he's the one without any scar so far while Gustang....

Okay, I think I can make an argument in favor of Gustang.

I think he may not have tried to go for the kill until this chapter, and that's the reason his abilities have been so underwhelming (because they weren't meant to be lethal). He was saying that Traumerei was no longer his friend. Throughout the chapter, it seemed as if he was still trying to convince himself to kill him.

And in the previous chapter, Traumerei said Gustang was toying around with him (before absorbing everything back).

Maybe it's a bit of coping to justify why he's been so underwhelming during this fight, but I think he can do decently more than what he's shown so far. The mindset he had until this chapter was kinda holding him back, maybe.

(Also for the sake of my agenda, I need to find ways to shorten the implied gap between him, Traumerei, and Blossom this chapter).

Yeah the translation gave that feeling like he was not using everything because deep within he still remembered the good moments ( still Blossom one shots )

Like you said in your own message gustang would have won the fight if urek did not step in
My point was that Traum winning the battle against Gustang only continues the status quo of the tower and Zahard's control. Having Gustang win move the story along and progresses the overall plot of changing the tower.
Post automatically merged:

I am not even mad at Gustang having a power his wife gifted him. What intrigues me the most is he was supposed to use it to save their daughter Anne but chose not to, and because he did not use said power he is able to use it now in an effort to make amends for his past shortcomings. It may feel like too little too late but he is trying to cause the change in the tower that will actually lead to Baam being able to make said change.

Tbh it always looked like everything was against Traum from the start of this..... everyone was planning to betray him in one way or another, Gustang always looked like he was playing 5D chess even now it looked like Traum was gonna get smoked badly and yet......he's the one without any scar so far while Gustang....
You have to look at the "why" and not blame the author. Traum is a POS and a recluse who treated all his family members like trash and tools. Why would/should these people support him rather than turn on him. I cannot even call it a betrayal after seeing how poorly he has always treated them. Gustang is much smarter than Traum, while Traum is stronger than Gus. When you look at it through this lens the fight pretty much went the way it was supposed to.

It is also likely that SIU is saving somethings for later on. We are only around the 52nd floor with much left to climb. So it's possible SIU isn't showing us the full power/potential of the FH's since there is still so much of the tower to go.

Think tower climbing is not gonna matter anymore as Baam is far stronger than normal rankers……Different floors from here on is probably just going to add to the lore and maybe show us different characters.
I hope that climbing matters because if it doesn't then his commands will be left in the dust. While Baam's growth is tremendous the rest of team Sweet and Sour do not seem to be as fast. Unless Khun, Rak, Baam, and Rachel are the only characters that really matter. We should get some more floors before 100.

I wouldn't mind a few arcs with just team sweet and sour and the other companions. Baam could go into a training arc off screen. Meanwhile, we get to see lore and the progression of his companions. I liked the arcs before Ha jinsung got captured more.

People are worrying too much.

The Ha, Edhuan and Hon family regents are gonna overwhelmingly dwarf Dumas, they'll keep Baam on his toes if they get involved once this is over.

Keep forgetting that no top family has actually moved yet, there's a whole new world of power undiscovered between Regents.

Yes,but i hope SIU doesn't break the power scaling. I would also like for TOG to end around chapter 1000. This show has being going for like 10 years now.

Power scaling just overwhelmingly shattered this chapter ma dude, don't think gaps between regents no matter how big will ever come close to this one.

In fact that would actually seem normal.
